Inverted Papilloma, Transited from Cystitis Cystiea and Glandularis - Report of a case -



Abstract
Inverted papilloma is a rare, endophytic, benign neoplasm which frequently develop at
the trigone of the bladder. However, because of histologic feature, growth pattern and
developed location, it has been argued about histogenesis of inverted papilloma of the
bladder. In our case, it is histologically observed that inverted papilloms is originated
from proliferative cystitis, that is, cystitis cystica and glandularis. A case of inverted
papilloma of the urinary bladder in 58 years old female is presented with review of the
literature.
